A smile and a ” hello”
From the neighbor next door
A person offers you their grocery cart
Before you enter the grocery store
A woman who you knew years before
Comes and gets coffee at the same shop
And at the same time you come
A coincidence, I think not!
There is something that God wants you to do
Other than “catching up” with the friend
Perhaps it is time to put your faith
Where your mouth is and say,
“Can I pray for you right now?”
Lay down all the political correctness
That makes us all feel a bit awkward
And let these people know
How much Jesus loves them
You may never know
That you are “blessings in disguise.”
