The Evening draws neigh
As the boys and girls
Around the world finish their school work
The evening draws nigh
People travel both going and leaving to work
The owls began to screech
In the silence the crickets begin to chirp
And I contemplate the past Sunday’s sermon
With a group of friends
We are in the book of James
If you care to study along
The sun sets below the horizon
The moon begins to appear
And I began to say a prayer
For all the readers out there
May God Bless You
In His tender care
Now it is time to lay my head to rest
Till the morning comes again
I will rest in His tender care.
