Psalm 18:1-3 NASB
” I LOVE You, Oh Lord, my Strength. ” The Lord is my rock, fortress, and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to praised.
Lets take a few minutes and focus on these words from the verses above.
ROCK- One that is similar to or suggestive of a mass of stone in stability, firmness or dependability
FORTRESS – A Fortified place especially a large, permanent military stronghold usually including a town
SHIELD – A person or thing that provides protection
REFUGE – Provides protection or shelter as from a storm or danger or hardship; a Source of help, relief or comfort
God is all these things and more. He is worthy of our praise. So give HIM a shout of praise today!
