A young woman
Standing in the middle of the ice rink
The stadium is filled
With people cheering her on
The Moonlight Sonata
Begins and she is center stage
She tries to relax her nerves
As she begins to skate her heart out
Around the rink she goes
Preparing for a series of jumps
And she makes it look so easy
Triple Lutz and Double Toe Loop
There is a smile on her face as continues
She spins and twirls
And then as if by magic the whole place
Becomes quite as takes her final jumps
Then there is great applause.
