The snows covers the ground
Icicles hang down from the trees and roof tops
The neighborhood children are bundled up
Playing outside in the snow
The girls are making snow angels
While the boys are throwing snowballs at them
The girls get up and join in the snowball fight
The parents are talking to each other
About what to get their little ones for Christmas
Soon the dads in the crowd grab their sleds
And call their kids to go cascading down the hills.
The moms in the crowd begin bringing out thermos bottles of hot chocolate
And everyone gets some hot chocolate and sing Silent Night
While the sun sets in the sky.
