The first snow has hit where I live. I love to watch it snow and I am always filled with kind of child like wonder every time I see it snow. Think about the first time you saw it snow and how did it make you feel to touch it. Yes, it is very cold and you could get sick if you are not bundled up. It is also so very fun to throw snow balls or even build a snowman. I love seeing everything covered in white because it reminds of the awe-struck wonder I feel the first time I heard about Jesus. I can see in my mind that when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and He forgave me of my sin. There is a verse in Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together,” Says the Lord. “Though you sins be as scarlet they shall as be as white snow; though they are red like crimson they shall be like wool.” We reason together with Him when we realize that Jesus is God and He is so holy and we are so unworthy. The color white is a symbol of purity and through Jesus death on the cross for which we are covered with His blood and we are seen by the Lord as pure and white as snow. Bless God! So when you see it snow think about the condition of your heart and your standing with God. remember Jesus the Lord who created this world and everything beyond and in it created you too. He created you for one purpose only and that is to bring glory to His name.
