Philippians 4:6,7 Amplified
Do not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition(definite requests) continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [ shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
I had trouble sleeping last night because I was fearful. I prayed and had my husband pray with me but it was not until about 11:30 pm that I got to sleep. The Lord had me read the scriptures that I listed in my previous post. I did not wake up until 7:00 this morning. God then graciously provided my Bible study this morning with a dvd presentation on fear. This video was picked out a couple of months ago and the Lord knew what I needed to hear even then. I feel confiedent I have God’s peace for today. Thank you Lord for continuing to work in my life.
