Suffering upon suffering
My heart had endured
My soul was in anguish
For the sins I faced
Some were of my own making
One was done to me
Forgiveness and healing I pursued
There were doubts in my mind
If God truly loved me
Even with all the things in the past
God’s word proved true
He saw me through
Through forgiveness and healing
I have been set free
And all glory goes to Him
Who made me.
