The Appointed Time

I have been encouraged recently by a study called the Remarkable Women of the Bible. I have completed the study on Sarah Abraham’s I must say that it left me quite encouraged. I pray that the same thing will happen with the other women in this study. God gave her a promise and she held onto it and even laughed about. The promise was a son who would later be named Issac. I admire her courage to perservere. God promises are amazing and if I hold to them instead of cowering in disbelief and fear God will move mightily. He move in my life whether or not I like but the amazing thing is that others can see what God has done in my life and will be encouraged by it. I pray that the Lord will continue to work in my life for His glory. In the book of

3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for very purpose under heaven: 3:2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3:3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 3:4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 3:5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 3:6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 3:7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 3:8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. 3:9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth?

There is a time for everything and God has appointed everything in His time and for His purpose. He will accomplish everything He has said He will do. Amen.
