To God be the glory! Oh, that the peoples’ would turn their hearts back to You, the Lord of the universe. My heart grows heavy for my city and nation. Let the church heed Your instructions to go out to the unchurched and spread the Good News to all mankind and to live by the Spirit so that we may dwell in peace both internally and externally. You are the only One we can count on. You have shown Yourself faithful to peoples’ time and time again through Your Holy Word. You have given us the power to do mighty deeds through the power of Your Spirit which dwells in us, the Beloved of Christ. Let us not turn away from the only One who can save us. For the children that have grown up in divorced and abusive homes I ask that You remind them by having someone to tell them that You love them. You truly do love them just as You love me. Let them surrender their hearts and lives to You so that others may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It not enough just to be saved but it is a daily submission to Your authority in our everyday lives. There is a song that I love so much called “Shine Jesus Shine” in one of the stanzas it says to “flood the nations with grace and mercy” let us the church truly exhibit Your grace and mercy to the nations. We are told in Romans 12:1-2 told to be in the world and not of it. So let this be my heart’s desire that when people what is different about us we can tell them about the God who so drastically changed our lives. In Jesus Name Amen!
