Living Fountain

The Lord is my faithful friend
He is more than just my friend
He is my Creator and the Creator of the whole universe
It is amazing to me to see what God has done in the lives of others
Even though I cannot see all that He has done in me
Others do and I thank Him every time someone tells me
I have an amazing testimony
What pleases Him the most is when I am obedient to Him
and to those in authority around me.
I forget where this is said in the Bible,
He desires obedience rather sacrifice
But what does sacrifice mean I wonder
Wait while I look it up…..
Sacrifice means to give up something you value a great deal
While Obedience means to the act of complying with His direction in our lives
It is not enough just to listen to Him
But I have to also do what He says
When I am in His presence and follow what He tells me
Then Fruit is produce
And I can live in peace.
