Living Fountain

Imagine siting in the Lap of God Almighty
He strokes your hair and hold you close to His heart.
In essence that is what we do when we spend time
In His word, prayer, and worship
We are siting in the very lap of God
Enveloped by His love, mercy and grace
It is satifying and yet terifying being in His presence
” The fear of the Lord is the begining and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” Prov. 1:7
Knowing just what God has done for us
and that He would choose not to mention or recall our sins of past
but instead sees the painful death of Jesus on the Cross
And it is something that He will see and remember for all eternity
I have had terrible things in my life happen
and to remember them every second would bring so much pain
But to constantly see Jesus with tears flowing from His eyes
Has brought such comfort for me
There was one instance while I was in a car accident
About 8 or 9 years ago where my car was T-Boned
The driver’s side and the passenger door behind was smashed
Only one of the windows shattered and it was behind me
I was shaken up but I did not have to go to hospital or anything
It just so happened that my new found boyfriend who I eventually married
Was there to help me and yes we are married to this day
Seven years and counting……
I did not even have to call the police about the time that I had settled down
A police car showed up.
It was God’s hand that protected me that day
Thank you Abba for all the things that You have done in my life
You have answered so many of the prayers of my friends and family
As well as my own
He will answer you too.
Come sit in His lap and tell about it.
