Proverbs 3:5-6 Amplified
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
The Lord is dealing with me in trusting Him with everything that I have or might possess in the future in regarding possessions, family and friendships.
I have to ask myself the following questions:
1. Who do I lean on in my everyday struggles?
2. Am I trusting in the Lord with each decision I make?
3. Am I confident in the Lord to see me through the day?
4. Am I relying on my own understanding and not on God?
5. When He directs me in a decision do I obey Him?
On a scale answer those questions yourself with a YES NO SOMETIMES.
And if there is a NO or a SOMETIMES, then come before the Lord and submit yourself to Him once again.
I am not perfect, I occasional if not daily, am in Need of God’s direction for my life and sometimes I don’t seek Him. You know what God still meets me where I am at and He will meet you too!
