You sit enthroned in majesty
All glory and honor be unto Your Name
You are a priceless treasure to behold
And yet You have called us Your prized possession
How can we grasp the fact
That we are heirs and partakers in Your kingdom
You have chosen to build Your Kingdom
With the finest and most precious stones
Building layer upon layer
Upon the chief cornerstone
Down through the ages
You have selected Your precious stones
To bring glory to Your name
From Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
The patriarchs of Israel
Followed by King David and the prophets
Next we see Christ born in the lineage of David,
Who is the Chief Cornerstone
Then we Find the apostles
The foundational blocks being brought fourth
To form God’s Holy Word
Paul, who was called Saul
To be the Apostles to the Gentiles
All being crafted and fitted together into one building
Where Heaven’s Treasure dwells
In the hearts of men and women
From Creation till He returns
To take us home.
