Living Fountain

Consider it wholly joyful, my brethern, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trails of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trail and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a through work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [ with no defects], lacking in nothing. If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. –James 1:1-5 Amplified Bibile

Why are we to consider it joy?
I often find that I get upset in difficult circumstances and ask God where He is during the crisis. After I have said my angst God often points me to the Bible in sometimes not so subtle ways. The above is one such set of scirptures. Our circumstances and temptaions that we at almost on a moment by moment basis everyday of our lives until Christ returns and yes He is reurning. We prove we are Christians by our actions and not just the words that come out of our mouths. If were call ourselves Christians then we need to act, think and live like we are Christ. In Romans 8:28 we read that everything works together for good to those that are called accoring to His purpose and Plan. I would often ask God, How can these certain situations work for good. Do you want to know what He said to me? He told me as clear as a bell. “It is for MY GLORY and not your own.” I was struck silent.

When you are surrounded on every side of your life with trials and temptations the only way to survive them is cling to the Rock and that Rock is Jesus Christ. When the foundation of Your faith is based on Christ alone and you are in abiding( having continous realtionship with Christ) then you will produce the fruit of righteousness. The Fruit found in Galatains 5:22,23. It is the trails and temptaions that we face with Christ that separates us from non-believers. If you know someone that is going through a trail tell them trust God and to press on in their faith because God will get the glory in our lives. Ask the Lord for discernment to know what He wants you to do.
